Admission Process

Gautam Buddha Public School, Gawandari (Gopalganj) accepts admissions for boys and girls for all classes from Prep to VIII. Our academic year commences in April each year, with registrations being accepted from September of the preceding year. We welcome enquiries at any stage of the year since we understand the challenges faced by students who need to change schools in the middle of the academic year due to the transferable jobs of one or both parents.

Admission Guidelines

• Students coming from other schools must produce a School Leaving Certificate.
• For inter-state transfers, the certificate must be countersigned by the inspector of schools/education officer/any authorized signatory from the Department of Education.
• Parents must ensure that the name and date of birth in the application form match the original birth certificate and/or transfer certificate.
• The date of birth recorded in the admission form cannot be changed later.

Important Instructions

• The Application/Registration Form for admission can be downloaded from our website or collected from the reception desk.
• Parents must fill up and sign the application/registration form and other necessary papers with due care. If filled by a guardian, this must be stated clearly.
• Admission is granted at the sole discretion of the school.
• Once admission is offered, all fees must be paid by cheque or Demand Draft. Admission is confirmed only after full payment.
• Acceptance of the admission fee does not guarantee admission until all required documents are submitted and verified.

• Parents must carefully read the prospectus before filling out the registration/enrollment form.
• Applications will be rejected if discrepancies are found between the submitted details and supporting documents.

Documents Required for Registration

• Proof of residence.
• Photo Identity of parents.
• Birth Certificate (Copy at the time of registration and original at the time of admission for verification).
• Aadhar Card.
• Previous year’s Mark Sheet (Applicable for Class II onwards).
• Transfer Certificate (Original required at the time of admission for Class II onwards).
• Five recent passport-sized color photographs of the pupil.
• Medical Certificate (From a Registered Medical Practitioner).
• Vaccination Certificate.
